Launch of Report “UAV Data Acquisition in Australia and NZ: User needs Report”

We are proud to be launching the #UAV User Needs Report at the #WorldofDrones #congress on 9 August 2018 in Brisbane! Thanks to our partners the Minerals Research Institute of Western Australia (MRIWA) #MIRWA and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning in Victoria #DELWP. We couldn’t have achieved this without the support of over 135 industry participants who helped us to explore the applications and benefits of UAV captured data and the issues faced using this technology across different sectors. This has culminated in the development of a best practice workflow to help these users reap the benefits of UAV technology. A big congrats to our in-house team of experts who not only compiled the data but spent many hours with users defining their needs: Jessica Keysers, Sam Amirebrahimi, Riyas Deen, Isabel Coppa, Stephanie Pradier and Nathan Quadros

This report will join our other #QA4Lab tools developed through the CRC for Spatial Information (now FrontierSI) and will be hand delivered by Zaffar Sadiq Mohamed-Ghouse FRGS FSSSI at the congress in just over a fortnight! #UAV #Drones #DataQuality #CRCSI #SSSI #qualityassurance #QA4UAV #SIBA #userneeds #research #WoDC2018 #FrontierSI
